distractions

Here's Paris Hilton people. Can't resist kicking a disadvantaged rich person when they are down.
There's also a YouTube music video, an embedded links provided below.
I'm not trying to be unfair, though it is probably clear I fell on the "rich people have different sense of justice than the rest of us" side of the perspective. ...Or is that inflated sense of entitlement?
Was I angry at her early leave taking, even if only temporary? You bet I was. But I'm not su much angry at this deluded child of privilege as I am the entire social system that allows for this and perpetuates it.
I can get angrier at and about more relevant things, such as an AT&T tele-serf who refused to explain why I am being billed for unsaked for "service options" like emergency roadside service and the dubious "right" to dial my calls at voice instruction only.
He refused to talk with me for "security" reasons, I refused to provide him a list of the most recent phone calls I'd made on the damned earbug telephone I have.
Ah well. so it's easier to rant about Paris and her get out of jail free card.
It's late at night. I'm going to bed.

  1. Paris is Innocent!

It is so unfair how everyone is treating Paris Hilton. You all hate her because she is rich, famous and pretty. I hope you are happy now.

You weren't satisfied that she had
to stay locked in her room for a month. That wasn't enough to quency your celebrity blood lust.

You had to send her back to the slammer!

She's just a little girl, no a common criminal. It's not like she even did anything wrong!

You people are sick and you just don't like people who are prettier than you!

She is a great role model and teaches young girls to stand up and do what they want. She will survive despite your repeated attempts at oppression.
