The military industrial complex | Those of you who actually read the diary page will recognize that the following stuff is also on the 1-10-04 page of the rondak diary | But, frankly, not everybody goes there first, and Eisenhower's speech is important, dammit! People ought to read it |
The paranoid streak in me wonders if the powers that be might start hacking into webistes where the speech is located, put pornographic images on the page, and then bust people for going online and looking at it |

human rights links | While surfing tonight I came across a website and group with whom I was unfamiliar | I rush, now, to correct that | The site Medical Advocates for Social Justice, states as their objective:
The mission of Medical Advocates for Social Justice is to advocate for and facilitate access to timely and appropriate healthcare for all who have or are at risk of life- threatening endemic and epidemic infectious disease and who are disenfranchised from such access because of poverty and/or discrimination.
This organization has some initial funding from Abbot pharmaceuticals | I don't know how one comepletely rids themselves from this kind of support when working on a global scale | I have to go,then, on the advice of Ron Thomson, to go with others when they are just, and stand apart from them when they are not |
