Trying to get back to writing on the weblog and this seemed like a place to start.

1. When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought? Geeze, I got to do something about that belly.
2. How much cash do you have on you? About 37 dollars US and about 43 dollars Canadian.
3. What's a word that rhymes with "DOOR?" Floor.
4. Favorite planet? Saturn, though since last Autumn I think that Pluto got a bum rap from the 400 + astronomers who wrested planethood from it.
5. Who is the 4th person on your missed call list on your cell phone? My brother, who lives in San Diego.
6. What is your favorite ring tone on your phone? You know, I really don't think about ring tones all that much.
7. What shirt are you wearing? A beat up dirty sweatshirt with a "Mizzy Construction" logo embroidered on it.
8. Do you "label" yourself? See my opening webpage. You figure it out.
9. Name the brand of the shoes you're currently wearing? Chippewa Boots
10. Bright or dark room? Bright room. I like to see what I'm doing, but if the dark makes you more comfortable, then, by all means, dim the lights.
11. What do you think about the person who took this survey before you. Don't know him, personally. Seems like he's really enthused about Ruggers [Rugby] which works for me.
12. What does your watch look like? It's a watch fob type watch, has a compass and a clasp on it. It can either hand from a belt loop on my pants or fit into the tiny change pocket on many of my pants.
13. What were you doing at midnight last night? Probably surfing the internet looking up parts of an Connecticut Appealate Court Rules Book for stuff I'm doing for work.
14. What did your last text message you received on your cell say? "Sir, please sir, I need to have your..." [you'll have to guess the rest of that message]
15. Where is your nearest 7-11? In Moodus center, about 4.5 miles away.
16. What's a word that you say a lot? I say a lot of words. Can't think f any one in particular.
17. Who told you he/she loved you last? My partner, who says it to me regulalry.
18. Last furry thing you touched? The pelt of a deer that dressed out to be about 125 pounds of what shall become many quite tasty dinners.
19. How many drugs have you done in the last three days? Prevacid; Cephalexin; Niacin; Caffiene, Alcohol.
20. How many rolls of film do you need developed? About four. I keep meaning to take them in to get developed. One might be about 3 years old now.
21. Favorite age you have been so far? 44
22. Your worst enemy? The pack rat in me who may eventually win the war; that, and sloth when it comes to exercise.
23. What is your current desktop picture? The parking lot to Misquamicut state park beack, Misquamicut, Rhode Island. Christmas Morning 2006.
24. What was the last thing you said to someone? "Goodnight, Lad."
25. If you had to choose between a million bucks or to be able to fly what would it be? I've had dreams where I could fly which were quite exhilarating, but I can tell you just what I would do with the million. Difficult call.
26. Do you like someone? ? Like, have a crush on someone? There are a few people whom I really, truly love, but I can't think of anyone I have a crush on [Well... maybe that beard stubbled 25 year old lad who was insisting on engaging me in conversation asking questions about my marital status while boldly staring at my crotch. He was a real beauty]
27. The last song you listened to? There were a couple of pieces of ambient music played on a late night broadcast on WHCN-FM [Bridgeport] that I really paid attention to as they were performed.
28. What time of day were you born? 1047 pm / 2247 hours. It was New Years' Eve.
29. What's your favorite number? Can't say I've though long about this one, but why not go for 19.
30. Where did you live in 1987? Bristol, Connecticut.
31. Are you jealous of anyone? Not really. I'm not prone to that emotion, though I will admit to sometimes envying some folks.
32. Is anyone jealous of you? I believe there are, but I don't think that they have any legitimate reason so to be. Each of us has our strengths, and fobiles.
33. Where were you when 9/11 happened? I was at work when I heard about the first plane hitting a the first tower. I thought they were talking about some movie one of them rented that weekend and payed no attention to it. A few minutes later, I began rounds on the patient occupied units and noticed both staff and residents just standing around staring blankly into a tv room. I looked in just in time to see the second plane hit and explode.
34. What do you do when vending machines steal your money? Write nasty signs asking the vending guy to look me up and pay me back the money I put in.
36. If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be? I'd like one on my arm, but also something between my navel and the pubes.
37. If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be? French, so I could travel around more in my favorite city. and Mandarin Chinese because I suspect it may be the next lingua franca for the planet.
38. Would you move for the person you loved? This would have to be a mutual agreement.
39. Are you touchy feely? I don't often express my emotions, nor do I get real huggy, if that's the question being asked. I can, however, get quite physical when the moment calls for it.
40. What's your life motto? Persevere
41. Name three things that you have on you at all times? A pocket knife, mechanical pen. wedding ring
42. What's your favorite town/city? Montreal, no question about it. Seconded by Bisbee, Arizona. My favorite region is the Adirondack mountains.

44. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper and mailed it? Im still doing my Christmas cards for 2006
45. Can you change the oil on a car? Yep. And the spark plugs, tires other ~ more rigorous ~ stuff I can do [break jobs, oil pan, chainging the universal joing, water pump, etc etc]. I've never rebuilt an engine or tranny. But perhaps the real question is, how often do I have someone else do these things? These days, it's more cost effective to hire out.
46. Your first love: what is the last thing you heard about him/her? Well, this is probably back to the "crush" question. He told me that he and the guy he was now sweet on were moving away from where they were living and going to get a place in the country.
47. How far back do you know about your ancestry? Back to 1814, but only vaguely. My Uncle Ken who lives out in California, probably knows a lot more than I about this stuff.
48. The last time you dressed fancy, what did you wear and why did you dress fancy? In August 2006, A funeral for a dear friend and co-worker. I even bought a new shirt [kind of lavender in color] and a pair of regulation dress shoes.
49. Does anything hurt on your body right now? My shoulders. I've spent entirely too much time hunched over the keyboard to reply to these questions.
