20- An acquaintance of mine once purchased an original Rembrandt print at auction for only $5. The auctioneer held it up describing it only as a "...picture of a windmill." My friend was the only bidder.

Yet another questionaire to fill out
1. What was the last movie you saw that you loved? The Queen with Helen Mirren, Stephen Frears and Peter Morgan.
2. What was the first album you owned? The Blues Project: Projections
3. What was the last book you read? Jean Cocteau: Past Tense, Volume 1
4. What's your favourite hangout? Moodus Sportsman's Club, an unidentified spot on the Salmon River, or some café in Paris on Montreal where I can sit for hours, read books, surf the internet or just people watch.
5. Do you have a pet peeve? Yes.
6. What's your idea of the perfect Sunday? Work out at the gym, followed by hiking in the woods alone, doing a lazy late afternoon read of magazines and books followed by a sumputous leisurely meal where somebody else cooks and the dishes are mysteriously cleaned and put away without notice.
7. What's your favourite junk food? White Castle microwavable cheeseburgers.
8. What are your vacation plans this year? I've already been to Amsterdam, Paris and Montreal this year. Be happy to go again but I don't think work would let me. Maybe the North Maine Woods in September for a couple of days. I wouldn't mind that.
9. What gadget or gizmo can you not live without? A Leatherman. [no folks, this not to be confused with Connecticut's Wandering Hobo nor has it anything to do with the Castro District. It's an actual tool!].

2. How much cash do you have on you? About 37 dollars US and about 43 dollars Canadian.
3. What's a word that rhymes with "DOOR?" Floor.
4. Favorite planet? Saturn, though since last Autumn I think that Pluto got a bum rap from the 400 + astronomers who wrested planethood from it.
5. Who is the 4th person on your missed call list on your cell phone? My brother, who lives in San Diego.
6. What is your favorite ring tone on your phone? You know, I really don't think about ring tones all that much.
7. What shirt are you wearing? A beat up dirty sweatshirt with a "Mizzy Construction" logo embroidered on it.

9. Name the brand of the shoes you're currently wearing? Chippewa Boots

33. Where were you when 9/11 happened? I was at work when I heard about the first plane hitting a the first tower. I thought they were talking about some movie one of them rented that weekend and payed no attention to it. A few minutes later, I began rounds on the patient occupied units and noticed both staff and residents just standing around staring blankly into a tv room. I looked in just in time to see the second plane hit and explode.
34. What do you do when vending machines steal your money? Write nasty signs asking the vending guy to look me up and pay me back the money I put in.
36. If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be? I'd like one on my arm, but also something between my navel and the pubes.
37. If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be? French, so I could travel around more in my favorite city. and Mandarin Chinese because I suspect it may be the next lingua franca for the planet.
