short notes:
will brady's ruminations
firestorms
The Mendocino fires in and around Ukiah have me particularly concerned because I know folk in the Greenfield Ranch compound. Not surprising I've not heard from them. I know if it were me, calling acquaintances around the nation would be the least of my priorities. But I hope and pray they are alright, hat they are safe, and their home -and homestead- are safe as well.

advertising
Heinz know that mayonnaise hold families together. Although they have pulled an advert from British television, they have managed to keep it online.
"HEY!!! Ain't you forgettin' sumpthin?"
"...Straight home from work, sweet cheeks!"
Watch the Heinz Deli Mayo ad which
shows two men kissing. It is the ad agency AMV BBDO's first work for the brand. I already wrote to thank
Heinz corp for their surprising inclusiveness.
