open space preservation | Well, the process is started again to have our town purchase outright or get conservation easements placed on a couple of large tracts of land | This time the effort to to preserve the watershed, protect the headwaters of a stream that -in the past- has been a cause of severe flooding, provide passive recreation that would be easily accessible | The property is but one of a series that, hopefully, will all fit into place nicely | And, no, the photo to the right is NOT in the area I'm describing |
