Ran out of gas today just before this spot | Had I gotten here it would have been possible to coast downhill and off the exit ramp |
That probably would not have been a good idea, since I relied upon my friend Chrissy to come with a container I had in my shed and she might not have known where I'd gone | She was good about it, too | She hardly chastised me for not being prepared | She could have, I know it |
Given that I was in the middle of hauling wood, and with fuel for one of the small chainsaws in the back of the truck, I should have had petrol for the vehicle as well | Two people stopped to check things out | One, a worker for a nationally known tree service, offered to assist but [even with a truckbed of tools] he didn't have a can of gasoline either |
