The editor and authors expect their readers to bone up on basic engineering and lab technique before doing things mentioned. This isn't shopping at Wal-Mart after all. And educating oneself is a good thing as far as I'm concerned | Heck, it's a critical component to becoming self-sufficient |

As long as we continue to cover our energy needs primarily by combustion of fossil fuels or nuclear reactions, we are going to have the problems, the environmental impacts, social and sustainability problems. What we really need are energy sources that will last forever and can be used without pollution of the environment." One thing I DON'T LIKE about this site is that many of the site's pages open up as new windows | I do this myself when marking out outside links, but not to my own pages | Otherwise, the site seems full of info |
