Bear with me | Still working on this | The outcome will mean a change to one of those gawd-awful blog templates, so I am working on modifying the templat to make it a bit more appealing | ...or at least closer to my liking |

BACK TO EXERCISE
It's been a long time ...since last autumn, actually... that I've been on a schedule to go to the gym | A series of illnesses, distractins and small misfotunes beset me since that time | All the while I gained weight, gained weight | Now I'm over 30 pounds heavier, my back hurts again, I experience shortness of breath, tire easily ...all things that I remembered from the past, but not so much from when I'd slimmed down to almost 215 pounds |

FOLLOW-UP
I still haven't figured out how to correct the problem of earlier posts disappearing to much lower on the page | I have figured a way around it for the time being | Maybe I ought to change the page's "skin" | Anyway, here's some reports on things I'm tracking
• Matt & Dave's bike trip | Last entry is a couple of days ago, 29 june 05 | They were headed to Nashville after looping about somewhere in east Kentucky and being "greeted" with dud firecrackers from brain-dead people |
• John Strain's dog, Bear, visits Hobo Garden |
• Mickey Z and Joel Sax tell us why they plan on seeing Tom Cruize in War of the Worlds
• Absoultely random blog finds: Fragile by Samara | Death of Chat "...to expose the malignancy of hate" | Rumba loses his car keys at the beach | Withered Reflection, A young woman comments on insomnia | This is my life, A young mother and artist cogitates on personal matters |
• Freedom of Speech | What with 40 million American's lacking basic health care, close to 2,000 underpaid National Guardsmen and soldiers already killed off like Hessians, and the ruling castes of Corpornations ripping off the global citizenry blind, it's reassuring to know that Congress has so much time to work on banning flag burning and clamping down on age confirmation for nekkid adult models on internet porn sites | Next in line? Maybe considering the legal way to imprison polticios and CEOs caught committing economic treason? | Umm, before some AMER-U-KAN readers take offense at the pix on the left, click the image to find out what is really happening | [OTOH, my apologies to my two Malaysian readers]

On Monday June 27, Logan Darrow Clements, faxed a request to Chip Meany the code enforcement officer of the Towne of Weare, New Hampshire seeking to start the application process to build a hotel on 34 Cilley Hill Road. This is the present location of Mr. Souter's home.
The proposed development, called "The Lost Liberty Hotel" will feature the "Just Desserts Café" and include a museum, open to the public, featuring a permanent exhibit on the loss of freedom in America. Instead of a Gideon's Bible each guest will receive a free copy of Ayn Rand's novel "Atlas Shrugged."

The Tennessee Department of Health has sent a letter to Love in Action notifying the group that it is suspected of operating illegally, according to Andrea Turner, communications director for the department.
Turner said that if the program is strictly faith-based it would not require licensing by the state, but that according to the group’s Web site, Love in Action has licensed counselors and provides services related to alcohol and drug addiction on site.
“If this is the case, they are required to be licensed as a drug and alcohol treatment facility in Tennessee,” Turner said.
