It's the jingle of spurs and the steady clomp clomp sound of one's own stride echoing down an alley late at night. In contrast, high heels make a nervous ticking noise, accompanied, in my case, by a little "yeek yeek yeek" noise at the end of a night because my feet hurt.But back to where this started, a good hefty chunky boot would be much more effective at making a mark on some pompous outgoing warlord's forehead ...make it memorable.
